We went because Gramma is 88 and wanted to see Kumamoto again (she was born there, and left for Hawaii when she was four years old). It was a bit of a whirlwind but she got herself into a few hot springs and we found the shrine that Ba-chan was listed at, so she was happy and so were we!
I'm going back as soon as I can save up enough to go!
