Depends on the quality of the rice. If it is good rice, it tastes great plain. If it's so-so rice, a little
furikake helps.
I was told to NEVER put
shoyu on rice, but I do if there's no one to object. Just a little Yamasa or Kikkoman, mmm.
I also like to put a scoop of rice into my miso soup if the soup base is very strong...
