As for MMM's slants on gravure idols; Ayumi Hamasaki started out as one. It is best to start young, but keep your top on, and you can use it as serious leverage to get attention later on.
As for a black girl making it in Japan... I am not so sure... good luck. (they associate dark skin with poverty in SE Asia. That is slowly dieing out, but still common expectation)...

I only know of one black girl who is famous in japan and thats crystal kay but she is not even all black shes half korean
