I personally do not see the point of it. my body has scars from a car accident i was in at age 4. i instantly went into shock & remember a few things (the blood, the car that hit me & my foot...yes i do remember).
i did recover eventually but the scars (on my foot, thigh-from where i had skin graft for my foot, & stitch scars) is a reminder that i can survive & go on with my life. I hope that does that do cut themselves will feel that way & cease someday as well. more power to you!
