does anyone have any information on live music venues in Japan- Such as clubs etc? How hard it is to get your own gig or open for another small / medium band?

Most of the revenue stream is live performances anyway. The avex deal discussion is cool, and would be awesome but unlikely (esp for a foreign act) unless u have some live experience and a small fanbase anyway.
