Ah, my family does this all the time, ugh. I put something Jrock on, and everyone in my family just moans and asks if it is "That Japanese stuff again" even if it's something I've never even heard before. -_-
It doesn't matter who it is; Kanon Wakeshima to GazettE to Nami Tamaki to Malice Meizer. They just hear the Japanese and block out the music. Although, that might not be being fair to my mom, she does like GazettE's heavier songs. Whenever I put on Alice Nine or something, she just says "Put on GazettE, I like them. Put on one of the songs with a heavy bass line!"
