Well, if you found ramen that is '6 yen' then either you mean 600 yen, or that's some free-ass ramen.
I did fine with $20 a day- and I ate pretty well... but the candy and the vending machines is what makes all your money dissappear! Japan is a coin-based society, I come to find out- and just because you have a pocket full of change you assume you can just spend it on worthless crap... it goes fast!
