I don't see any evidence of using a translator. This person just accidentally hit the kanji conversion when typing こんにちは. If he/she was using a translator, you'd have to actually write "today" for it to spit out 今日, not "hello". Aside from that, there's no "overuse" of kanji... although having "紫外線" for a nickname is a bit odd.
