I have this same exact problem, I never quite get to sleep when i should and end up getting yelled at later.
But i only get 1 or 3 hours of sleep at a time and end up falling asleep at a friends house.

My friends have been trying to help me out but nothing has worked for me and i dont eat or drink anything with sugar.
But to tell you the truth i had a big cup of cofe once and i fell asleep really fast and i made the cofe myself.
But i fell asleep at my bf's house about two days ago i think it was, i didnt get any sleep the night before and i was super sleepy, when i woke up only an hour had passed and my friend Jessica was stairing at me.
