I attended a Catholic school for most of my life.

Enough said.

I don't find what my students do in class odd, what I find odd is that the constitutional interpretation of the right to education means that students here get away with so much. MacArthur is spinning in his grave.

And MMM, I think younger boys, even in America, do that. I'm only 25 but even I didn't notice any kind of "gay" thing come up until the seventh or eighth grade, and I don't think it became truly influential until high school.

Also, I met my first out lesbian (or so she claimed, as much as one can believe someone that young) as a seventh grader in my Catholic school. That was an interesting experience. She didn't fit any stereotypes either. She was really awesome.
