The word "manga" is grossly abused by all these people who just so happen to draw Japanese-style...
Bottom line, Manga is just the Japanese word for Comic... Calling yourself a Manga artist if your American is
extremely pretentious.
But to stick up for the idea, Tekkon Kinkreet was an awesome anime out of Japan that was directed by an American (Micheal Arias). The whole crew was Japanese though
