Kittin I dont think you get to select which school you go to. If your current school has a program I am sure it already has a sister school in Japan that you will have to go to.
If it is through some other program/company I am sure it will be a similar circumstance- where the company will have preselected schools that it only deals with and every year a certain amount of students get designated schools from that group.
Do you understand? You won't be granted the choice of going to any school in Japan that you wish. Even the Japanese don't get this luxury!
I went to Japan with high school when I was 13 (I am 23 now) and my high school here is Sydney would only deal with one other high school in Japan. Every year a number of students would go to Japan and a number of students would come from Japan - that is usually how an exchange program works.
It's great that you have this ambition and burning desire to go to Japan but you have to be realistic and get information from you school rather then strangers on the internet who can only retell there stories and understanding on the matter. You need to get your information directly from the source in which you plan to use to get to Japan. Do you understand?
