2 of my friends, Calum and Graham passed their JLPT 1 a couple of years ago (4 years total study time) and now work as translators. a-san, b-san, c-san all work at the university with me. And Niall (who just came here 6 months ago) is working for a business language school in Shinjuku and has managed to get through Japanese for Busy People 1 & 2 so far. Nick went home and is sitting in his house getting high everyday.
