one more thing i like on Rammstein is that the often play woth words and pronounciation
for example in this song:
YouTube - Du Hast - Rammstein Lyrics and English Translation
at the beginning he yust say "du has[s]t mich"
wich means: you hate me
later he says "du hast mich gefragt"
wich means: you have asked me
in german the difference between hate and have is just one more 's',
(in the 2nd person singular)
"du hast", you have
"du hasst", you hate
moreover it sounds the same because you don't speak the 2nd 's'
but that you can only understand if you speak german. in the most tranlations the silmly write "you have" all the time
theres another band named "Die Ärzte"(The Doctors) wich plays with the words too. there at least one of the most popular bands here but they never got famous outside of german speaking countries because it's boring if you don't understand the text and the text isnt the same anymore if you translate it
This is one of the songs you can understand even if its translated
YouTube - Die Ärzte - Rebell (English subtitles)
last one are "Die Toten Hosen" wich means 'The dead Trousers'
this is one of the newest songd called "Strom"(electricity)
