1) Stop editing your posts after the fact to disprove something someone said. There are time-stamps on edits, you know.
2) More importantly, you obviously know very little about cosplay. I have been to cosplay events where "Americans and Westerners" dress up as their favorite anime, manga, and video game characters, and the point you are missing is people are not trying to look exactly like the characters, and don't feel failure if they don't. The point to to dress up, take on that character and enjoy yourself in a new skin.
Since when has cosplay been a competition between Asians and Westerners? You are trying to create a controversy that doesn't exist. Please be reasonable, and enjoy your time at Japan Forum, but I fear you just want to stir up trouble, which will make your time here short.
