In my personal opinion, his PR company did him no favours. It makes Miyavi look like he was keeping secrets and being dishonest to his fans, if it is true that they wanted him to withhold the information that he was married, then it was really not a good move.
It would have been a much wiser move to be honest with the fans and let them share his happiness. Now the whole thing just seems quite scandalous because of his PR company, almost like he was lying to fans. I think it's a good thing that he's supposedly going solo on that front, because he can then say what he feels like.
