The war isn't over yet. Threats from both sides still exists. The only difference is that South Korea's threat to North Korea is not insulting and direct.
Right approach? We need to look at North Korea carefully.
The world must wholeheartly accept North Korea even though North Korea is socialist/fascist and isolationist. This will decrease the military tension domestically and outwardly for North Korea. It will be easier for North Korea to treat their own citizens better at the end.
And South Korea should ditch the Reunification policy to a different one. In this situation there is no way the reunification being possible in the next 30-40 years.
I don't like the North Korean government but this is the only viable solution.
