Hi. I am a professional ceramic artist, and have spent a bunch of time in Japan. I've a few somewhat significant accomlishments over there and am a bit familiar with Japanese pottery. If you put up an image of the frontside, I might be able to give you some info. I only read Hirigana and Katakana.... and a few Kanji, so no help with translation.
