Firstly, I'd like to ask ho this went from a Ninja or Samurai thread, to a thread about war.

My view about war is that it's a necessary evil. It won't ever stop, and it never will. I don't like it, but sometimes violence is the only way to solve things.

But that's a discussion for another thread. I'd have to say I'd prefer to be a Ninja. But it depends on the nature of it really. Were Ninja's paid for their services, or were they a simple unit in warfare?
