Now scientists have said this is an evolved strain of the flu virus. And on the grounds of the bible you are saying that these scientists are wrong. So on those grounds you must also accept that the drug used to halt the virus doesn't work right?
So on the grounds of that logic... I'm assuming that if you got swine flu.. you wouldn't listen to your doctors advice right?

It just sounded like that's where it was going to head, but since you want to know, I'm more than happy to oblige.
If we are going to go with, "grounds of the bible", there are bunch of different interpretations of creation, one being called the "gap" theory. This theory suggests that the 6 days of creation are not literal 24 hr periods but in fact very long spans of time be it thousands or millions of years. In that interpretation, evolution fits in nice and cozy. But that is not my interpretation.
Also, on the new strain thing. The current strain of swine flu did not evolve from cancer or something. If it did then I would call that evolution, but since it didn't, I'm more inclined to believe it was more adaptation then anything.
