I see you still don't get my point and that you didn't read my own post before you. whatever.
What I'm trying to tell you here is that yes we have the choice but it's not as clean cut as you point it out.
Actually, I think your point is actually wrong because you can't say someone is making an
enlightened choicewhen he drink and then drive. Do you really think that someone who is totally wasted is really conscious of what he's doing, that he is really realizing that he's risking people life? If he can't drive correctly, he cannot neither make the correct choice either to drive or not. Lot of people fail to realize that because they never been in this situation.
It's pretty rare someone going to make an enlightened choice, even when sober, because you can't never know what is really going to happen. You make a choice and then... it's pretty much fate and all the random occurences of life that will determine what going to happen with that choice... then you choose again, and so on.
You say this is not fate, this is life. I think you are just playing with the words here.
