What I'm trying to tell you here is that yes we have the choice but it's not as clean cut as you point it out.

Actually, I think your point is actually wrong because you can't say someone is making an enlightened choicewhen he drink and then drive. Do you really think that someone who is totally wasted is really conscious of what he's doing, that he is really realizing that he's risking people life? If he can't drive correctly, he cannot neither make the correct choice either to drive or not. Lot of people fail to realize that because they never been in this situation.

It's pretty rare someone going to make an enlightened choice, even when sober, because you can't never know what is really going to happen. You make a choice and then... it's pretty much fate and all the random occurences of life that will determine what going to happen with that choice... then you choose again, and so on.

You say this is not fate, this is life. I think you are just playing with the words here.
Yeah i read your post didnt make much sense but i read it

first of all if you made the choice to drink yourself to the point where you are not conscious of the actions so whatever you do after that is YOUR OWN FAULT POINT BLANK! Secondly like i said before nobody want to get in a wreck and kill somebody but anything could happen to make them wreck: talking on the phone, not paying attention, people make these decisions and up F***in up somebody else in the process.

Definition of fate- an event that will inevitably take place in the future.
the future is a couple of seconds away, minutes, hours, days, years, decades and so on
We live in the present, whatever decision we make determined what our future will be. Someone else decisions might mess you up and have negative consequence. You might have a disease that was out of your control but it not fate that brought you that disease it could have been numerous of things.

if you turn left this will happen if you turn right this will happen...well something definitely going to happen either way you so why is it fate?
because it out of your control...hello nobody in control of their lives all the time....that just fact....
