I was thinking more on track with this thread.

Heart Gold or Soul Silver?

I think for me it will depend on what the pokemon differences are.

Based on the old games-
Ekans, Vulpix, Meowth, Ladyba, Delibird, Skarmory and Phampy (and their respective evolutions) are NOT in Gold.

Sandshrew, Growlithe, Mankey, Spinarak, Gligar, Mantine and Teddiursa (inc evolutions) are NOT in Silver.

Looking at that, I'll get Silver as I've not used Phampy before and it looks pretty cool, but hopefully they will include ALL the pokemon, not just up to 250 in the game and mix it up a bit.

To be honest, with Pokemon XD concentrating on G/S pokemon and with a high amount of them being in Platinum, I'm getting kinda sick of the Johto pokeys...

IMO they shouldnt make more pokemon, theres more than enough variety now. They should cut out alll the crap ones like dunsparce and make a game including only the best ones (with no legendaries, cuz they suck).
