Toilets, Toille, Benjo, Oshiko's, Taps and OOPS! -

The toilet's in Japan always amazed me.
First with have the "tap on top" type and then we have the "down low type".
Have you ever had a "funny" experience with a toilet in Japan?
Does anyone know what the tap on the back up top is for? Is it to wash your hands?
What type of toilet do you have in Japan?
I had a horrible experience with the down low type.
I had just finished teaching my second last English lesson for the night, I took the oppurtunity to run downstairs for a much needed Oshiko, and bloody hell, it was the "down low" type.
No problem. When I had finished, I relized I was a bad shot, and the entire front of my Chinos were saturated
The worst part was, going back upsatirs into the classroom, and having to walk side/backwards to the table where my last private student was waiting!
I've never felt so embarassed in my life!
Cheers - Oz
