I've seen it and it sucked.
And yes, I hate it because it became so popular among teens, but in fact it is a movie with a basic love story and a deformed vampire myth to fit so good to attract even more.

If I make a new creature and call it a vampire, it is not creativity.
Oh and, I brought out many points why this film was a failure beside the myth thing, but nobody argue against those.
- A girl learns that a guy is a vampire and wants to eat her and shortly after that DATES him. Doesn't get scared at all.
