This is an issue.

South Korea currently has politicians "closely affiliated" with Japanese politicians. Thanks to the American military government in the late 1940s "freed" the Japanese collaborators in South Korea, and a significant minority of them are still connected to the Japanese government via capital and influences today.

(Greatest example, the current controversial South Korean president, LMB, is de facto considered to be Japanese citizen than a South Korean citizen in many public impressions. Technically he is the first "Japanese president" in South Korea who wants to bring back the pseudo-Japanese colonial rule like a wet dream)

While Japan still maintains the very same political elites before the end of WWII. And the American government has illegally contributed a small portion of Japanese politicians that has always been undemocratically dictator-like.

We should blame the American and the Britsh (Commonwealth) government(s) for esclating more strifes between the two countries right after WWII. Sad, very sad.
