I've had many asian friends (Korean, Filipino, etc) who all have a distaste for Japanese culture and its popularity. But this is all brought on by their parents, and their parents before them.
The most common ground that all people share is an intolerance for each other-- which we share on a personal, subconcious, and collective level.
There are many injustices in this world. There are many people who have displaced from their lands, and there have been many genocide's committed...
If we look back in time, we see a picture of people sharing a common capacity-- taking turns being oppressed by each other. Apparently
nobody can forget the past and celebrate our differences...
I for one am sick of this meaningless cycle... Though I'm not authorized to speak for the whole of my 'people'- neither can anyone from any social background...
But we can
all feel the effects of a millennia of self destructive patterns. Patterns that unite the people of the world through our need to destroy each other. It's collective insanity!
My theory is that eventually evolution will run its course. As a result, all the "haters" will be bred out of the human race-- leading to an all-aware, tolerant, and educated super-population...
