There's a woman who discovered a way to make very realistic prosthetic hands and fingers for people who'd lost them in accidents and so on, only to find she had dozens of Yakuza queuing at her door, wanting to retire to another area or keep their activities hidden from their families and needed to hide their missing fingers to do so.
