I had a half brother who was 1 year and 11 months older then me. I first meet him when he came to stay with me and our mom when I was 14. He was with us for about 9 months. Unfortunately he did not want to follow the rules explained to him. So he was sent back to my Aunt and Uncle who adopted him as a baby. The time he was with us was ok but he never seemed to want me to be around him. He committed suicide about 10 years ago and I was honest with my mom as to how I felt. I told her I was unsure of what I was supposed to feel as we never bonded as siblings. Explaining to her that I know he was important to her he was just another person to me. She understood what I was talking about and why I felt that way.
