Seriously, you don't need some war general, a smart ass politician to do actually do something for your country. Sometimes it's enough to go there in field and give your best and bring excitement to some poor guy.
Zidane did all kind of charity activities and he still keeps doing after his retirement a football player. And Pele, he didn't became Brazil's national treasure just for nothing.
