Not be an alarmist, Hyakushi, but if someone's breath smells like nail polish remover (acetone) there could be a serious medical problem. It means their blood sugar is way off. If its strong, you might want to consider getting help.


Actually, I do notice people's breath when they have been drinking sake and depending on the sake it can be rather unpleasant..... but usually its when the sake aroma in cup is also unappealing to me. And I agree, it amplifies the smell of anything eaten with it, too.
