Except... It doesn`t at all. There is no way anyone would actually read it as such.
It`s not a stylized character, it`s simply
not Japanese or Chinese. I can`t say I`m familiar with every language out there, but I am willing to guess it probably isn`t a real character at all.
It makes me think of the weird character Prince used more than anything in Japanese or Chinese.
