I can sympathize with you. I have arachnophobia too. I'm really afraid of spiders. The idea of seeing ones as big as your hand scare the crap out of me...but I'm trying to get over the fear. Every time I try to apply to anything in Japan, I second guess myself. "What if I see a spider and scream like an idiot and alert the neighbors?" >< lol I think that this is the only thing that could possibly discourage me from wanting to work/reside in Japan.
