Because it wasn't. The police officer who arrested Gates was reported to have taught a class on racial profiling.

All Gates had to do was show his I.D. to the cop. Fairly simple. Or he is above such actions? Being a prestigious Harvard professor and all.
However your views on this matter lead me to believe that you're content with the biased and "racist" perspective. Clearly simply another African American who was
unfairly exploited. And clearly simply another corrupt police officer. There were African American officers at the scene and they agreed with Sgt. James Crowley's actions.

I could go on forever about this idiot, but when he criticized Clint Eastwood for "whitewashing" his movies "Letters From Iwo Jima" and "Flags of Our Fathers" that was really just sad. He obviously doesn't know his history. Or when he criticized "The Patriot" for "conveniently" avoiding the subject of slavery. Not everything has to be about racism Spike!
