For anyone who is self-studying... all I can wish is good luck!

I've tried and I am the type of person that needs a class structure with me messing up and embarrassment to continue learning and reinforce the topics I've learned.

Hopefully next year, I can enroll in a university, spend a lot of money I don't have, and be just a small step closer to having a decent grasp of the Japanese language.

Then from there... who knows. How can one, without a lot of working experience, find a job in Japan that caters to English and Japanese? I give people a lot of respect who can go from one foreign country to the next and find jobs... even make a living without being fluent in the language.
