Kurosawa is one of the best directors ever, probably second only to Kubrick. My favorite movies from him are:
  • Seven Samurai
  • Dreams (which you forgot in your list)
  • Rashomon
  • Yojimbo
  • Ran
  • Ikiru
  • Kagemusha
  • Red Beard
