Dose anyone think that genetics have anything to do with it?

No. I believe this is more of a "nurture" problem.
Why are teens so rude? I presume the OP is referring to teens in America? I can't speak for any other countries, but I believe bELyVIS put it correctly:
Quote:
People started becoming rude when years ago the government started telling parents how to discipline their children. All spanking became bad and you were to treat your children like little adults. We were spanked if we were rude to anyone especially the adults. Now, these first generations of these non disciplined kids have their own children are teaching them to be rude in a cycle that I cannot see ever ending in the future. Sad.

Parents regularly think of their children as flawless perfect little beings, and refuse to lift a hand against them. Lack of discipline is a huge factor I've noticed between my sister and I. I was spanked should I act out, and now I rarely ever talk back or show anything but respect towards elders. Yet, completely opposite situation with my sister, who frequently screams and behaves innapropiately.
If anything, I'd say it's largely the fault of parents who are unable to take care of their children properly.
