Since when the previous generation became last? Anyway between the two, I'd choose the previous.

I remember PS1 came out people were literally saying WOW! when they saw the games like Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil or Twisted Metal and pretty much the same happened with previous gen. games when they showed up. The difference between the graphics was much more noticeable and games like RE 4, Fatal Frame, Halo showed new ways of playing. While I'm kinda disappointed in current gen. games, the graphics are nice but I expected something more.
