You can't be serious, MMM! All this is, is solar panels in Space but costing a lot more and risking a lot of peoples' health by sending even more rays down to earth. It'd be a much better use of resources if Japan bought enough land in the desert somewhere and set up enough solar panels to soak up a thousand times more energy than a solar panel in space would...

This isn't smart thinking at all... There isn't anything good about this idea apart from it makes people go "oooo, wow, Japan can be sooo innovative! They're so smart!!"
