we all passed that point long ago when Bush went into office, we the people let ourselves down.

I don't even know why people are making a big deal about the president, he has a limited amount of power. Its not JUST the president at work, its the congress and all others who complete the system Government. Always thought it was funny how people would blame a president for everything when he is just a window dressing. Bush got away with total control because of the war. Obama is trying to end that war, so in terms he does not hold the same amount of power Bush did. Unless he starts a whole new war or continues this one.
