Rastafarians and some modern Gnostic Christians believe that the Tree of Life referred to in one Biblical passage ("the leaves of the Tree of Life [that] are for the healing of the nations”) refers to the marijuana plant.

Some historians believe that oil derived from marijuana seeds was a central ingredient in Jewish and Christian holy anointing oils. Some of the healing miracles of Jesus have even been attributed to the anointing oils – the drug can take effect through skin absorption, and marijuana can relieve the effects of glaucoma, skin ailments and menstrual pains.

It would be better for you to do your own research.

Gnosticism is not Christianity for one.

Jesus did not anoint ANYONE with oil.

Old testament exodus 30: 22-29. Talks about the ingredients to make anointing oil.

Calamus is translated as a sweet cane.

Original Hebrew is besem qaneh which means sweet smelling calamus water reed spice.

Point is Christianity does not condone marijuana use.

1 Corinthians 10: 31-33
31 Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
