Recently garbage separation has become a little less complicated. You can now (in most places) put plastic bags, lids, and small containers in your burnable trash bag. Plastic bottles, glass bottles, metal and aluminum cans must still be separated.

I tend to buy refills when I go shopping, that way I have less bottles to throw away. Refills are available for things like laundry detergent, body soap, shampoo, and other products. The refills come in bags, which can then be tossed into the burnable garbage after you empty them.

If all of this is too much for you, you can do as I see people at do (in the middle of the night), and just take your bagged garbage and put it in someone else's bin. Wear your ninja clothes so you don't get caught.
