I don't think "Share the book I like" makes sense unless you include "with XXX."

Edit Actually, now that it's no longer late where I am and I'm refreshed, I think without "with XXX" it would only make sense in the sense of "permit another to possess the book I like as well."

If someone was giving a book report in class and said "I'm going to share the book I like," I would assume the person is not an English speaker. It just sounds awkward. I dunno. Perhaps it's a regional thing.
