I just realized it was a "Humid" subtropical map, and on the map most of Japan was in the humid subtropical region except the northern parts.

Here is the map



After looking at that I notice most of Japan still looks to fall in humid subtropic with some warm in between.

Hokkaido fell in temperate continental climate/ humid continental.

So, again I'll ask. What is the weather like in Hokkaido?

According to the map above it shouldn't be as humid as the east coast of USA.
