Konichiwa! I'm interesting in learning Japanese, too. What I would do is go to a bookstore and buy a Japanese audio cd and book. They have all kinds of language stuff. Everything from German to Dutch and so on. I don't know if you have a Books-a-Million in England but you can try at the bookstore. (I'm sure England has one.)
