the best option is to cook for yourself anyway; its alot easier than you'd think, plus with no meat to worry about, its alot easier to not poisen yourself! 
My parents are veggie (as i said); but they eat fish; in japan if you say you're vegetairen you still have to specify no fish paste, as they dont seem to count that as meat...
also your mushroom allergy may be a problem, mushrooms are used quite a bit in japanese cookery...  :S |
