Yes it is a direct transfer. I'm flying with Finnair (Manchester > Helsinki > Tokyo).

That is such a good idea! Thanks for that! My suitcase is black too lol. I'll no doubt have more worries along the way so I'll be back! Just hope the mods don't close this thread so I can read it again before I set off!
