It's unsurprising, really. They're Americans, their arrogance and self proclaimed superiority of others is something that they're born with. Much like the British being born prejudice to others.

I found it amusing how they kept saying that it's a disgrace to the Americans who fought in the war against the Japanese. God forbid we all get on with the Germans, and with almost every race out there, right?

It's a shame. Obamas' bow WAS wrong, and the Japanese emperor no doubt was amused. But seriously, who cares? I'm sure the Japanese Emperor was understanding to the fact, like Obama would be understanding if the Emperor flew to America, and made a jarring mistake.
