So? So? I said that so to make sure that people don't get the wrong idea and think that I'm just bashing British and American people. I'm saying it from a British point of view.

So America and England is the top of your list in your book overall, or just in comparison to Japan?

Pray tell me, where did I say it was at the top of my list? I was agreeing with you to a point. Every culture and society has a trait that is prominent more-so than other traits. In Americans, along with other countries, arrogance is a natural thing.

I didn't say anything of the sort and neither did the article from foxnews. And an excuse for what; saying that Americans and the Brittish are Arrogant and have a superiority complex?

Nor did I say you said anything. Stop getting so defensive.
As for the article:
"Some were especially angry that the man the president bowed to is the son of Emperor Hirohito, who led Japan during World War II. RedState's Mark Impomeni -- whose blog post included iconic photos of the Iwo Jima flag-raising and Japan's surrender along with the picture of Obama's bow -- called the president "an embarrassment" who's "bent on dishonoring" the service and sacrifice of Americans who fought against Japan."
That is what my comment was aimed at.

The point is this is just a luxury the leaders of the free world do not have. That is why there are rules of protocol, which he continues to violate. He is there are the president of the US and the leader of the free world (if that title has any meaning anymore), not as American visitor Obama and should be neutral in his representation of the American people.

Again, I was agreeing with you. He didn't do it as accurately as he should of. Then again, the Emperor didn't take it too heart.
The critics are over-reacting as always.

Read the full article about why this is even news:
Obama Draws Fire for Bow to Japanese Emperor - FOXNews.com
"When you're representing the United States of America, everything speaks ... on behalf of our country," "It's a visual. It shows more of a subservient look."
"She said Obama was clearly trying to show respect, but that the royal couple would not expect such a gesture from a Western leader. Eyring, who reviewed the video of the encounter, said they seemed a "bit uncomfortable" watching Obama bow. "
"Former President Clinton got slammed for coming close to bowing to the Japanese emperor in 1994. The New York Times ridiculed him, noting, "The image on the South Lawn was indelible: an ob-sequent President, and the Emperor of Japan." But the paper wrote that the "thou need not bow" standard in State Department protocol has been constant since the country's founding."

Firstly. FOX news.
Secondly, when we've reached a place in life, where one nation deems itself so superior to another, that's when we need to stop and move back. Believing that the President should not of bowed, (Which please, note that I am not aiming this at YOU.) is just a completely ridiculous to think. What he did was right, but the way he executed it was wrong.
Also, I don't understand why the Americans seem to think they should not be bowing to other countries. I mean, they aren't in such high lights these days, and they won't be for a long time. It just shows their arrogance.
