Thanks, my old friend appreciates it. This guitar is really old. I would say just go to guitar center. I would tell you to support your local guitar shop, but you will likely just pay more than you need to. If you have time, hit up all of the local garage sales and or flee markets.

There are a few things you should look for. Make sure it has strings and that the strings look like they have been tuned. That means that they are not really loose or really tight for that matter. It is good to have a guitar from a guitar player because it will likely be in working condition. It would be best to go to guitar center and at least play their guitars so that yo have an idea of how the guitar should feel and work. That way you don't end up getting something that is completely useless. Make sure that they tune the guitar for you at GC. They are rather notorious for being oblivious.
